When you think about coaching, you might picture long sessions with deep dives and drawn-out strategies. But what if I told you that in just 30 focused minutes, you could walk away with clarity, a plan, and fresh motivation? That’s the power of laser coaching—short, strategic conversations designed to move you forward fast. Let’s take a look behind the scenes of a real (anonymized) laser session, so you can see what’s possible when the right structure meets the right support. The Challenge: “I have too many ideas—and I’m doing none of them.” Meet Sharon, a passionate entrepreneur in her second act. She’s smart, creative, and has a heart to serve, but lately, she’s been spinning in circles. Every time she starts building momentum on one idea, a new one pops up, and she second-guesses everything. In her intake form, she wrote: “I feel like I’m standing in front of 5 doors and I don’t know which one to walk through. I don’t want to waste time.” Classic laser coaching material. Minute 1–5: Grounding the Session We started with one simple question: “What’s the real decision you’re trying to make today?” That helped narrow the session from all the ideas to one big decision: Should she commit to launching a workshop for women who are restarting life after divorce? Minute 6–16: Clarity in Motion Here’s what we tackled quickly and intentionally: - What lights her up about this idea? - Who is this really for? - What’s making her hesitate? Turns out, it wasn’t the idea that was unclear—it was the pressure to make it perfect. Once we gave her permission to make it small and simple, her tone changed. The fog lifted. The workshop wasn’t a “someday if I’m ready” thing anymore. It was doable. Minute 16-22: The Action Plan We mapped out three immediate steps: 1. Choose a date and block it on the calendar. 2. Write down 3 outcomes participants will walk away with. 3. Share the idea with one trusted friend for feedback. Nothing wild. Nothing overwhelming. Just real momentum. Minute 23-25: Wrap Up and Check-In I asked: “How are you feeling now compared to when we started?” Sharon exhaled and said, “Lighter. Focused. Like I finally know what to do next.” And that’s what laser coaching does—it gives you just enough structure to clear the fog and spark action. So… What Could You Do with 25 Minutes? Maybe it’s untangling an idea, resetting your priorities, or finally getting out of your own head. Whatever’s been sitting on the back burner, a laser coaching session might be the quick, practical nudge you need. Curious what your next 25 minutes could unlock?
